We ship orders once per week, around midday on Fridays.

SHAPE
A current take on a Comet classic, today’s Takeover showcases our much-loved rocker/concave platform in a shape and size suited to the components and riding styles of the modern era.
At 35.75 inches long, the Takeover welcomes gravity enthusiasts of all sizes. It is both stable at speed and maneuverable when meandering.
The Takeover is 9.75 inches at its widest and tapers down to about 8.5 inches at the inner mounting holes, providing ample leverage for tightening turns and digging into drifts.
The 2024 Takeover has a more nuanced taper than the previous iteration, equalizing the width at the front and back of the deck for increased comfort when skating "switch".
The Takeover's 25, 25.5 and 26-inch wheelbase options provide ample adjustability for placing your favorite components exactly where you want them.
CONSTRUCTION
We build Takeovers to be durable, eco-effective and accessible—a perfect deck for starting out at speed and a reliable tool for years to come.
The Takeover’s layup is simple and strong: nine plies of FSC-certified maple held together with skate-specific wood glue, providing rigidity and vibration dampening without the complexities or costs of composite materials. Give it all you’ve got and know that when your time together is done, the Takeover’s materials can return the earth responsibly.
