SHAPE
Designed a bit wider than most double-kicks, the Shred is roomy and road-ready, shaped to support your journey and offer control amidst chaos.
The Shred's offset waist and distinct nose and tail give it a directional, tapered appearance, yet it maintains a symmetrical feel thanks to equal width where you plant your feet.
Kicktails at the both ends of the deck provide leverage for quick de-weighting over turbulent textures, pivoting at corners and coping, sinking into drifts, launching up and over obstacles, or popping the board into your hand when you’ve made it to your destination.
With wheelbases slightly longer than common double kicks, the Shred 33 and 35 make space for a shoulder-width stance no matter your size. That extra length lets your feet rest just inside the curve of the kicks, warding off unintentional wheelies. When you're ready to play, the Shred's kicktails reward a sensitive touch but don’t demand it.
CONSTRUCTION
Suited for bumping and grinding, we build Shreds with a simple and time-tested all-wood construction.
The Shred is made with seven plies of Forest Stewardship Council-Certified maple veneer. "FSC-Certified" means the wood we use comes from responsibly managed forests.
We bond the Shred's veneer with skate-specific, water-based glues formulated to withstand the forces of the open road.
Built to last, yet prepared for the inevitable end, we invite you to give the Shred everything you've got and to feel good about letting it go—its materials are of the earth and ready to return.
Capable & Comfortable
Building a skateboard to our Space Travel Standard® begins with soft wheels, which revitalize rough roads and open us up to imperfect places that are full of life. Shreds come stock with 66mm Powell Snakes, whose soft slide formula offers a revolutionary combination of smooth roll and supportive drift, which means less pushing, more play, and unparalleled control in even the steepest situations.
The Shred’s intuitive turn and drift come from a suite of components: Ace trucks outfitted with Venom bushings, and Zealous bearings spinning inside the wheels. Together they offer a solid connection between you and the world, with just enough cushion to soften the static of those pesky cracks in the sidewalk.
With deep wheel wells in the deck and only a quarter-inch riser under the trucks, The Shred makes space for a bite-free ride with up to 69mm wheels without limiting depth of turn or exaggerating ride height.
Look no further: this is the go-anywhere, ride up or down anything setup of your dreams.
Street Smart
The Shred offers solutions to common challenges in skateboarding—all in the name of inclusion:
We manage rough roads with large soft wheels.
We do away with wheelbite with deep wheel wells, whose clearance allows us to keep turning unlimited, ride-height low, and pushing a breeze.
We address instability at speed with components that work together to make any descent manageable, providing pathways to control and confidence.
The result?
More possibilities. More modes of play, more textures, more temperaments and more mixtures of movement than most ever dream.
The Shred invites you to lean into the journey, to linger where you like, to connect the spots and get down in the ways that feel best for you. Whether you’re the sort that flourishes with all four wheels on the floor or delights in flying, the Shred is a capable door-to-door companion, from suburb to city, cobblestone to kickflip.
Make a song of any surface—simple to steep—and any situation. Shred through school, skateparks, work, bus stops, train stations and airports (seriously, nothing beats it). Shred with your chosen family. Shred all systems of oppression. Shred the limits.

The Shred 33 is ideal for skaters who prioritize agility above all, and for smaller newcomers.
The Shred 35 is great for tall skaters and newcomers who want some more space to stand, a blast for those who are hungry to push their top speeds and dabble in different disciplines.
Yes. The Shred thrives in skateparks and all other environments.
It's our go-to for all types of transition riding and a delight for getting down urban hills—driveways and curb cuts included.
Shreds are our favorite tool for handling the hills of San Francisco, sliding with ease to manage speed.
The Shred's longer-than-average wheelbase allows for a confident stance when digging into drifts.
Settle into the curves of the kicktails, carve hard and make those soft wheels hiss!
If you can, so can the Shred.
