Recently I was up in the hills of Montclair California on a sunny Sunday afternoon to participate in the first Scout Rd Outlaw.
We met at the top near Thornill Elementary, about 30 people (mostly kids) showed up. We got right to bracketing heats and freeriding the hill. It was a short but fun course complete with a right sweeper and a left 180 hairpin. We raced for a while, finished the heats, and then went to get lunch. Shout outs to Adrian from the Sunset Sliders and Gabe the Goob for killing it at the race!
After lunch we went to a good hill for people to slide around on, a kicker was brought out and people were going big off it. Jake D’Amato was really killing it along with Evan Daniel. To finish the day off we went over to the ever so famous tunnel road to bomb it as a group. Tomio Choy was really showing everyone how to rally down the run as quick as possible. Overall this was a great first outlaw/community event. Thanks to the organizers Jordan and Sean.

You're welcome! Thanks for the writeup, we were really happy with it for our first event. If only neighbors were cooler on the freeride. We're holding another event in the hills come spring and it should be way better.
