TMMR 2011

Tuesday, August 9th, 2011

by Anthony Flis
Photos by Blair Caldwell (all photos here)

TMMR is hands down the best outlaw on the East Coast in the U.S. Don’t even try to argue it. Phat Dean is also the most giving, and supportive person of the east coast downhill scene. Don’t try and argue that one either.

Southern Virginia to Phat Deanz

Tuesday, June 21st, 2011

by Anthony Flis

I was on the fence about Phat Dean’s most recent freeride because I didn’t have a lot of money but Christian called me and said we were going so I couldn’t say no. Christian Montoya is one of the fastest downhill skaters on the East Coast and also one of the most fun people to be on a skate trip with. Phat Dean is not the fastest or best skater but he is one of the biggest supporters of East Coast downhill shredding, always encouraging and welcoming skaters into his home so when he hosts a freeride it’s hard to miss.

Major Stok’em III

Monday, April 18th, 2011

by Keith Rebhorn

It was a gray Sunday morning in Hoboken, NJ when I awoke from a restless sleep. I got up early, disheveled from the night before, got dressed, skated to Dunkin Donuts, and picked up some coffee for myself and fellow shredder Pat Schep. Pat went to go pick up Max Myers and his girlfriend from the PATH station, as I got the rest of our stuff together. Pat swung back around to pick me up, and off we were to Major Stok’em III.

Santa Barbara Slide Jam

Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011

by Liam Morgan

On March 4th I cruised down from Berkeley to Santa Barbara for the 2nd Santa Gnarbara Slide Jam. Blake Smith, Davis Vannasing, Wyndam Lewis and I arrived in Isla Vista (after a quick stop at the Caliber Truck Factory) at about 11pm. The streets were packed with people just raging it was sick! Max Myers house was the party and camping spot, we had hella fun there the first night. It was nice to see our friends from San Francisco, LA, and Laguna! (more…)
