Slider Gloves

Monday, February 16th, 2009

Comet is offering our first commercially available slide gloves to answer the question - Can I just get a pair of gloves that wont fall apart? And how about for under $25? Yep - These gloves are leather (a must when battling flesh eating pavement bugs) with UHMWP palms. The UHMPW is specially treated and is attached directly to the glove. It wont fall off. It stays in place until you wear it off.

SKin SaVinG pAnTs

All of my pants seem to be missing the same swatch of fabric on the outer knee and upper arse. For those of you that like to have assault ready apparel and dont always carry your full leathers in your backpack, these pants will keep you covered for any session. These are classic work pants with the knees and butt reinforced with thick but highly flexible leather (piel de la vac). The pants are offered in 32, 34, and 36..

RTE 1 Fun on MLK day

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009

What a day!  It was 75 degrees in the shade.  The surf was incredible and it was hard to get out of the water but well worth getting together and skating some new and old spots on RTE 1 and the mountain.  Blake has some super dope o-tang wheels locked onto a vintage Voodoo shape while Jason films on a new XL Voodoo.  We skated some amazing spots on this day but the views on this run were incredible.

We felt that it was important to have a memorable Martin Luther King day.  At Comet we do our best to serve year round.  This day, dedicated to one of our most righteous freedom fighters, was celebrated whole heartedly.
