Voodoo Doll proto w/ FSMini
Voodoo Doll prototype with FSMini

One year ago, JP Kaloi from Hawaii / Rado, requested that we shape him a Voodoo with 1” extra width, length, and wheelbase. Hundreds people are ripping that creation called the Voodoo XL as a result of that collaboration. A year later we are going the other direction and bringing you the Voodoo Doll at 36 inches.

NEW - Loki drop OR FLUSH!

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

Loki Drop Loki Flush

The Loki now comes in both drop-through and flush mounts! If you’re wondering which flavor tastes best, it all comes down to your personal prefs. The drop-through deck will ride a half inch closer to the ground than the flush, which in turn creates subtly different rides. You should expect the flush to be a little grippier, and the drop a little driftier. Naturally, the flush will give you a cleaner grip across the nose and tail and the drop might be a little easier to push over long distances. Either way, you’ll love it. Choose your flavor and ride on.

Slider Gloves

Monday, February 16th, 2009

Comet is offering our first commercially available slide gloves to answer the question - Can I just get a pair of gloves that wont fall apart? And how about for under $25? Yep - These gloves are leather (a must when battling flesh eating pavement bugs) with UHMWP palms. The UHMPW is specially treated and is attached directly to the glove. It wont fall off. It stays in place until you wear it off.

SKin SaVinG pAnTs

Monday, February 16th, 2009

All of my pants seem to be missing the same swatch of fabric on the outer knee and upper arse. For those of you that like to have assault ready apparel and dont always carry your full leathers in your backpack, these pants will keep you covered for any session. These are classic work pants with the knees and butt reinforced with thick but highly flexible leather (piel de la vac). The pants are offered in 32, 34, and 36..

Voodoo Redesign

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Just got off the line with JP Kaloi in Hawaii and he suggested that we alter the original Voodoo shape a bit. Above is the drawing and here is what we plan to do.
Add 1 ” of wheel base for a total of 32.25”
Extend the width to 10.25”
Extend the length to 39”

With our factory we can look at skateboard design similar to how surfboards are made. Each rider is welcome to come up with dimensions specific to their style and size and we can customize a board. The more this happens the more the Comet line can metamorphose into exactly what the skateboard community is looking to collectively skate…We are inviting more input for the VOODOO and others in the line. If you have something completely new we want to hear about that too. Look forward to hearing your thoughts. We will be sending 2 flex patterns of the above dimensions to JP next week. Email info@cometskateboards.com if you are interested.

Thanks for all those who assisted both offline with us online at the silverfish voodoo thread

Let’s hear some more ideas…

DESIGN A BOARD WITH US…AND OTHERS

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

Above is a drawing that Justin Dubois sent to us when we were co - designing the Pagan (his name). That drawing turned into a board after a few conversations and 4 weeks of prototyping. Maybe we could do the same with your ideas…
Here is an opportunity to design the board that you want. We have dozens of molds to choose from. Check the rest of our line to see a few examples. If 10 agree on a shape and buy it we will make it out of the proper mold.
